Leming Doubles Up

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Ryan Leming started the action off by raising to 1,300 in early position, the player two to his left called and the big blind defended.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, the big blind checked, Leming moved all of his chips in the middle for 16,100. The player in the middle folded, and the action was back to the big blind,

"That's a big bet, why so much?" he said.

After about a minute in the tank, the big blind called and both hands were tabled.

Ryan Leming: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Big blind: {9-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Leming was in the lead with a pair of tens, the turn {7-Spades} locked up his win, and the {9-Spades} improved his opponent to trips but it wasn't good enough to beat Leming's turned straight.
