Alaei Takes Pot On River

Level 7 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Daniel Alaei opened to 4,500 from the cutoff and received calls from Scott Seiver on the button and Brian Rast in the big blind. The flop came {4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Rast checked. Alaei fired a continuation-bet of 13,000 and both Seiver and Rast called.

The turn was {j-Diamonds} and all three players checked. The river came {3-Spades} and Rast checked to Alaei, who put in a bet of 38,000. Seiver instantly folded. With 89,500 behind, Rast was faced with a decision for almost half his stack and tossed his hand away as Alaei took down the pot.
