John Esposito raised to 130,000 from the hijack, Josh Arieh called in the cutoff, and Dan Cates came along in the big blind.
On the flop, Cates potted it for 415,000, and Esposito folded. Arieh raised the pot, and Cates called off his last 1.33 million.
Both players had flopped flush and straight draws, but Cates had the lead at the time with his pair of sevens, although Arieh was actually a 60/40 favorite to eliminate Cates. The turn gave Arieh the nut flush and ended Cates' run before the could fall on the river.
