"Pair," Gazlay said, showing {6-}{5-}{5-}{2-}{a-}.

Zack Triples in Badugi

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Jake Schwartz raised on the button, David Gee re-raised in the small blind, and big blind Dan Zack slid his 35,000-chip stack towards the middle. Both Schwartz and Gee called and Gee patted. Zack and Schwarz drew one apiece.

Gee led out and Schwartz called. Both Zack and Schwartz drew one again and Gee fired another bet. Schwartz, however, raised this time and Gee paused before calling.

Gee and Zack both patted the final draw, but Schwartz was still looking to improve his hand, drawing one. The last betting round was checked and Zack showed {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Spades} to stay in the tournament, dragging the main pot. Gee took down the side pot with {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Schwartz mucked his hand in defeat.

"Gordo" Sinking

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Sumir Mathur raised on the button and both blinds called. Everyone asked for two and Brayden Gazlay bet out from the big blind. Mathur raised, Mike Gorodinsky called, and the blinds took one apiece while Mathur patted. They checked dark to Mathur, who bet. Gorodinsky called and Gazlay tank-folded. Gorodinsky pulled a final card, and each player checked the end.

It sounded like Gorodinsky announced a king, but whatever it was, it didn't beat {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}.

Zack Scores Another Double

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

With action picked up after the first draw, Jake Schwartz led out, earning calls from David Gee and Dan Zack. Schwartz stood pat, Gee drew two and Zack took one. Schwartz fired again, prompting a fold from Gee. Zack stuck around for the final draw where he peeled one card again.

Schwartz checked and called when Zack bet almost all of his remaining chips. "Wheel," Zack announced, securing himself an effective double up. Schwartz didn't have to show his hand as Zack wasn't technically all in.

2-7 Triple Draw

Mike Gorodinsky needed two on the first pull and Jon Turner did likewise, with Gorodinsky betting after the draw. "PearlJammer" raised and Gorodinsky called, with both players improving to a one-card draw, checking, then pulling one again. Gorodinsky check-called on the end but couldn't beat {9-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

Then, Turner raised and called a three-bet from Sumir Mathur in the small blind. Both drew a card and Mathur bet, with Turner calling. Mathur was pat but Turner took another card and called a bet. He needed a final card, and Mathur checked to him. Turner bet, Mathur tank-called and Turner showed a perfect eight-six.
