Gorodinsky Needs Heat

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Sumir Mathur raised in the small blind and Mike Gorodinsky called in the big. Each took two and Mathur check-called. Gorodinsky improved by a card but Mathur still needed two, and he check-called again. Mathur took one and Gorodinsky patted.

Mathur came out betting after peeling his card and Gorodinsky tanked about a minute and tossed in a chip. Mathur had {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs} and swept in the pot, leaving "Gordo" on less than two bets.

Zack Keeps Rising

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

With a significant amount of chips already in the pot, Dan Zack and David Gee were betting after the second draw. Zack led out, Gee raised, and Zack called.

Zack stood pat and Gee contemplated for a while before deciding to draw two. Both players checked the river and Zack turned up {10-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{2-}, raking in another pot in what has been an outstanding level for him.

Gorodinsky Finds a Double

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Mike Gorodinsky raised on the button and Jon Turner three-bet from the big blind. Turner took one and "Gordo" two, then Turner bet and Gorodinsky called. One and one after that and Turner check-called the rest of Gorodinsky's chips.

Gorodinsky showed {9-}{8-}{5-}{4-}{3-} after Turner pitched a card and turned over {8-}{7-}{3-}{2-}. The last card was a {q-} so Gordo fights on.

It's All About Zack on Table 2

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Dan Zack raised and Jake Schwartz and David Gee came along from the blinds. Schwartz and Gee drew two apiece while Zack opted to change one. He fired in position and both of his opponents stuck around for the second draw, which went two-two-one again.

Zack continued barrelling and only Gee called to peel one on the final draw. Zack took one as well and tossed in one final bet, forcing a check-fold from Gee.

A-5 Triple Draw

Mike Gorodinsky lost an A-5 triple draw pot in which he was drawing two against Jon Turner's one and check-calling down, with details of the final draw unknown. On the end, Gorodinsky check-folded in disgust and left himself with crumbs.

Then, Gorodinsky raised and Brayden Gazlay called in the small blind. Turner came along in the big. Gazlay took two, Turner three and Gorodinsky two. Turner came out betting and Gorodinsky stuck it all in, getting called by both opponents. Gazlay and Gorodinsky drew one apiece and Turner was pat. Gazlay check-called and draws stayed the same, with Gorodinsky tanking awhile before opting to pitch.

Turner showed a six-perfect when Gazlay mucked and Gorodinsky showed {6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} but picked up a {10-}.

Turner Drops Two

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Jon Turner raised early and David Gee called on the button. Both drew two and Turner bet. Gee called and they each improved to a one-card draw. Turner check-called this time and drew, while Gee patted. Turner check-folded the end.

Then, Dan Zack raised and Turner defended big blind. Both drew two and Turner check-called then drew two again. He found himself far behind in the draw as Zack patted. Turner check-called again nonetheless and he was pat. Zack patted back and bet the end.

Turner shook his head and tanked a bit before mucking.

Turner Barrels Patted Hand

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

David Gee raised under the gun and the action stopped at Jon Turner who re-raised from the button. Gee called and took one while Turner stood pat. The same pattern followed on the remaining two draws with Gee check-calling Turner's bets prior to each draw. However, Gee didn't peel what he needed and finally check-folded on the river, allowing Turner to claim the pot without exposing his hand.
