Valderrama Takes One Before the Break

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

In the last hand before the second break the under-the-gun player limped in, Louie Valderrama called from his small blind and the big-blind player checked his option.

Valderrama bet 1,000 on the {8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flop and was called by the player in the big blind. After Valderrama continued with a bigger bet of 4,000 on the {q-Diamonds} turn the big-blind player folded his hand, the dealer scooped the pot to Valderrama and the players went on their second break of the day.

Slow Roll or Not?

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Tarun Goyal raised from middle position to 2,200 and was called by James Calderaro from his small blind and Pierre Neuville from his big blind.

After all three players checked through to the river on a board of {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Calderaro checked again, Neuville moved all in for his last 6,900 and Goyal made the call. With action back on Calderaro he check-shoved his last 19,100, which sent Goyal into the tank for almost a minute before he made the call.

Pierre Neuville: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
James Calderaro: {10-Spades}{7-Spades}
Tarun Goyal: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Goyal scored a double-knockout after turning a full house. Calderaro hinted at a slow roll and asked Goyal why it took him so long to call.

Seymour Scores Double Knockout

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Richard Seymour From a Previous Event

Action picked up on the flop of {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Jeremy Koehler had already moved his last few chips into the middle. Pierre Neuville moved all in behind and Richard Seymour, who had both players easily covered, made the call.

Jeremy Koehler: {8-Spades}{3-Spades}
Pierre Neuville: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Richard Seymour: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The {9-Clubs} turn and {4-Spades} river were of no help to Neuville and Koehler and Seymour scored the double knockout. Koehler seemed to take the bustout in stride and asked to take a picture with Seymour who obliged.
