"lafiera8" Eliminated by "VSMPZD"

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante
lafiera8 eliminated by VSMPZD
lafiera8 eliminated by VSMPZD

In a battle of the blinds, "VSMPZD" had table neighbor "lafiera8" at risk preflop and both players turned over an ace in showdown.

"lafiera8": {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}
"VSMPZD": {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The pot of 9.9 million chips was sent over to "VSMPZD" as they dodged an additional gutshot on the {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{j-Clubs} board, eliminating "lafiera8" in 15th place.

"VSMPZD" Doubles Into the Lead

VSMPZD doubles through kris16 and takes the lead
VSMPZD doubles through kris16 and takes the lead

"kris16" raised to 400,000 and was called by both players in the blinds including "VSMPZD" and "lafiera8". On a {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, "VSMPZD" check-raised a continuation bet to 1.4 million and "kris16" was the only caller. "VSMPZD" bet the {a-Diamonds} turn and jammed the {q-Diamonds} river for the last 3.7 million which "kris16" called.

"VSMPZD" tabled {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a set and "kris16" lost a huge portion of their stack with the {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

"kris16" then doubled with {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} against the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} of "lafiera8" thanks to the {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} board.

BakedSand eliminated
BakedSand eliminated

Canada's "BakedSand" finished in 18th place when they pushed their short stack in with the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and were called by "ArtePokerTV" in the big blind with the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and that spelled the end for "BakedSand".

Moments later, "preflopPlus" hit the rail and the table closed immediately as the final 16 were set.

Oliver "King_Bill47" Bill lasted all but a few moments in those last two tables as he failed to hold up with {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} in the big blind when facing Luis Gustavo "DJLITTLESOUL" Kamei and his {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} in the small blind.

The {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop immediately brought bad news and the {10-Diamonds} turn and {4-Spades} river provided no help.

Mulders Eliminated in Huge Three-Way All-In
Mulders Eliminated in Huge Three-Way All-In

Alexander "Craggy" Bylick bowed out in 24th place when {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} came up second-best to the {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} of Jeffrey "hockeysyrup" Mallach on a board of {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

Moments later a huge three-way all-in saw both Daan "DaanOss" Mulders and Koray "KakiTee" Turker at risk.

Koray "KakiTee" Turker: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Daan "DaanOss" Mulders: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Wei "dugui777" Zhao: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} board gave Turker a miracle straight while Mulders hit the rail.

In the blink of an eye, Thi "HoneyandTHI" Truong and Martijn "visacard" Gerrits, then Turker sent over his chips to "ArtePokerTV" and Patricia "PatriciaLD" Levy Dery hit the rail to go from 23 to 18 left in lightning speed.

Sammartino and Danchev Eliminated

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Dario Sammartino was one of the shortest stacks still in contention and jammed the cutoff with {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}, which was called by Wei "dugui777" Zhao on the button with {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

On a board of {q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Sammartino failed to connect and bowed out in 26th place.

And the next big name to fall was Dimitar "bombok032" Danchev who took a rough beat against "Tr1pTripM".

Dimitar "bombok032" Danchev: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
"Tr1pTripM": {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

The board came {j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} to eliminate Danchev in 25th.

Dayan Eliminated by Mulders
Dayan Eliminated by Mulders

Justin "LappyPoker" Lapka became the next casualty and Daan "DaanOss" Mulders went on a rampage to go from short stack to big stack while Daniel "AliSmirovich" Dayan went from fourth in chips to out in 27th place.

Mulders doubled in an ace-rag war and then doubled through Dayan with {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} versus {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} on a board of {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Mulders then used the pressure to reraise into Dayan's committed raise and the latter eventually called while waiting on a pay jump.

Daniel "AliSmirovich" Dayan: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Daan "DaanOss" Mulders: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Again the Dutchman had the best of it on a {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} board.

Luis Gustavo "DJLITTLESOUL" Kamei raised the it up from the cutoff and picked up two callers including "tonythetiger" in the big blind.

After the {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, "tonythetiger" was at risk with {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for bottom two pair only to find himself in devastating shape against the {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} of Kamei. The {10-Diamonds} turn and {a-Hearts} river brought no miracle escape.

Two Down After the Break

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Patrick "marypoppins" Hu-A-Kam was the first player to bust after the break when he got it in with {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} against the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} of "PokerSamurai". They both turned a straight draw but the ace-queen high prevailed as the board ran out {k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

"Quokka" got his short stack in via flip with {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} against the {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} of Jeffrey "hockeysyrup" Mallach and the {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades} board delivered the overcard on the turn.
