Dunst Stacking Huge Early

Level 2 : 30/60, 0 ante
Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

Tony "Panoramic" Dunst has already tasted the sweet success of a WSOP gold bracelet once in his career, as he took down Event #63: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em during the 2016 WSOP for $339,254. No stranger to WSOP success, he's already accumulated three times the starting chip stack in the early going.

In a recent hand, Terry "mrterry007" Fleischer raised to 135 from middle position, and Daniel "djp1006" Park called in the hijack. Dunst three-bet to 660 from the cutoff, and both Fleischer and Park called.

Action checked to Dunst on a {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, and he bet 600. Both Fleischer and Park folded, and Dunst took down another pot.

It's gonna be a lucky day for someone, as today's Event #17: $777 No-Limit Hold'em will award another WSOP gold bracelet to one hold'em hopeful.

Players will start with 15,000 in tournament chips for their $777 buy-in, and blind levels are 15 minutes in length. Late registration is open for three hours and fifty-five minutes, and players who bust may re-enter twice during the late registration period. Re-entries have a thirty-second time limit, so players should make sure they have enough funds in their WSOP.com account prior to the tournament start. Tournament tickets may not be used for re-entry.

This is a single day event meaning the entire tournament will be played out online and the winner will take home a WSOP Gold Bracelet.

Last night, in Event #16: $500 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo, it was Terrell “Heezahustla” Cheatham who toppled a field of 1,528 entrants, earning a WSOP gold bracelet and $116,204. The final table included Daniel "StayActive" Chan (6th - $20,490), Andrea “Andrewbull88” Buonocore (5th - $27,573), and runner-up Julian “Julian” Parmann (2nd - $71,648).

This is the seventeenth of 85 bracelet events being held on WSOP.com (31 events – one each day for the month of July) and GG Poker (holding the remaining 54 events).

The former client will cater to players in Nevada and New Jersey (players in Delaware are NOT able to participate), while the latter will serve the international base.
