Al Riccobono
Al Riccobono

We missed the hand play out, but learned after the fact that Al "BigAl16" Riccobono, who is playing from New Jersey, managed to triple holding {q-}{q-} against two players who each held {a-}{k-}. The ladies held and just like that Riccobono is flirting with a top-ten stack.

Riccoboni a longtime grinder with results dating back to 2006. His biggest score of $45,422 came back in 2007 when he finished 267th in the WSOP Main Event.

He's still looking for a big breakout win, and right now just 61 players stand between him and a gold bracelet. No matter where he finishes, he's guaranteed at least $939.60 in prize money.
