No Back-to-Back Final Tables for MacPhee

Level 14 : 600/1,200, 120 ante
Kevin MacPhee
Kevin MacPhee

Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Kevin "ImaLuckSac" MacPhee, who last night finished fifth in Event #4: $500 No-Limit Hold'em Super Turbo for $22,389, won't be making back-to-back final tables as he was just eliminated from the tournament.

It happened when MacPhee moved all in for 9,156 for middle position and Conner "uvaseca" Raisin three-bet jammed for 36,062 from the cutoff. The rest of the players folded and MacPhee discovered the bad news.

Conner "uvaseca" Raisin: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Kevin "ImaLuckSac" MacPhee: {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

MacPhee had the inferior ace but the {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop did deliver him an open-ended straight draw. Unfortunately for him, neither the {4-Spades} turn nor {10-Spades} river completed it and he hit the rail.

Ramon "foldemup" Liriano: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Jerod "WhiskeyDeck" Smith: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {7-Diamonds} turn gave Liriano a gutshot and he got there with the {9-Clubs} on the river to eliminate Smith from the tournament.
