No Back-to-Back Final Tables for MacPhee

Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Kevin "ImaLuckSac" MacPhee, who last night finished fifth in Event #4: $500 No-Limit Hold'em Super Turbo for $22,389, won't be making back-to-back final tables as he was just eliminated from the tournament.

It happened when MacPhee moved all in for 9,156 for middle position and Conner "uvaseca" Raisin three-bet jammed for 36,062 from the cutoff. The rest of the players folded and MacPhee discovered the bad news.

MacPhee had the inferior ace but the flop did deliver him an open-ended straight draw. Unfortunately for him, neither the turn nor river completed it and he hit the rail.

Mizzi Falls in Double Elimination to Gruneberg

Sorel "Lovemy3kids" Mizzi raised to 19,500 under the gun and left himself just 5,511 behind. "tszis..." then jammed for 32,249 next to act before Zachary "MagicConch" Gruneberg, who was sitting on a big pile of chips, four-bet jammed himself from the cutoff. Action folded back to Mizzi and he wasted little time in calling off his remaining chips.
