Salas Overbets the River

Damian Salas raised it up to 300,000 and was called by Dominykas Mikolaitis in the hijack. Once they checked the flop, Salas then bet the turn for 275,000. Mikolaitis made the call and they headed to the river.

Salas now cut out a bet of 1.35 million and Mikolaitis quickly sent his cards into the muck.

Botteon Takes It on the Flop

In the entire first level there was no showdown to the river and that didn't change not in the final hand either.

Chip leader Brunno Botteon opened to 325,000 in the cutoff and he was called by Damian Salas out of the small blind. The flop brought and Salas check-folded to a bet of 275,000 by Botteon.

Salas currently sits in second place while Manuel Ruivo has dropped into the middle of the pack.

Mikolaitis Jams Up Stack

Manuel Ruivo min-raised to 400,000 only for table neighbor Dominykas Mikolaitis to jam and win the pot. Both stack sizes were nearly evened out after the hand was done and dusted.

One hand later, Brunno Botteon raised to 400,000 and claimed the blinds and big blind ante.

The action kicked off with a raise to 425,000 by Damian Salas in early position and Hannes Speiser opted to three-bet jam as one of the three table short stacks. Salas asked for a count and once it was deemed to be for 1,925,000, Salas made the call.

Speiser picked up a gutshot and counterfeit outs on the flop. The turn added more outs with the open-ended straight draw but the on the river ended his run in 8th place for $109,982.

Mikolaitis Pushes Into Salas

Damian Salas raised to 675,000 out of the small blind and won the big blind and ante off Manuel Ruivo, who dropped to approximately 20 blinds.

One hand later, Salas raised to 475,000 and Dominykas Mikolaitis pushed out of the big blind. Salas eyeballed the stack of his opponent for more than a minute without asking for a count but opted to fold instead.

Streda Doubles through Mikolaitis

Once the action folded all the way to Dominykas Mikolaitis in the small blind who was in the eight seat, he glanced over to Marco Streda in the one seat with the dealer in between. "Around three million?" Mikolaitis inquired and Streda nodded.

The push of Mikolaitis followed and Streda checked his cards, then made the call.

The flop fell and Mikolaitis asked for a five or nine. He would receive neither on the turn and the river let Streda double for 2,775,000.

Dominykas Mikolaitis jammed up his stack without being called and then it was Ramon Miquel Munoz who open-shoved to steal the blinds and antes. Stoyan Obreshkov had raised for most of his stack once but wasn't able to chip up much either.

Damian Salas then raised to 650,000 in the small blind and Manuel Ruivo folded.

Stoyan Obreshkov made it 900,000 to go in the cutoff with fewer than that behind and Damian Salas on the button re-raised to 1.75 million. The blinds got out of the way and Obreshkov called it off, then walked over to his friends on the rail after the cards were turned over.

Both players paired up on the flop which kept Salas in the lead. The turn brought some chop outs but Salas sealed the second knockout on the final table with the river. Obreshkov has been eliminated in 7th place and takes home $160,512.

Ruivo Chips Up Some

Damian Salas raised to 500,000 from under the gun and Manuel Ruivo then three-bet to 1.8 million from one seat over, which represented essentially half of his stack.

All other players folded and Salas gave it some thought before electing to fold.

Salas was in the big blind next and checked his option when Brunno Botteon limped in. They checked to the river, Botteon made it 225,000 to go and Salas folded.
