Counterfeit Pot Heads to D'Alterio

Level 9 : 25,000/50,000, 6,000 ante

"malcomX" raised to 100,000 from middle position and Luigi "GiugliaGG" D'Alterio called on the button. The small blind was "themasteryan" who raised to 1,469,402, leaving 50,000 behind and action folded back to D'Alterio who jammed. "themasteryan" called their last 50,000 and was at risk.

"themasteryan": {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Luigi "GiugliaGG" D'Alterio: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop was {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and the odds were almost spot-on for who was to win the hand. The turn came with a {9-Clubs}, giving the advantage to "themasteryan".

An always gross counterfeiting card landed to complete the board when a {10-Spades} fell on the river, making "themasteryan" take a walk as snowmen were not relevent anymore. D'Alterio scooped the pot, dropping his opponent as he soared near the top.

Magerson Steamrolling as Field Starts to Deplete

Level 10 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Aliaksei Boika raised to 100,000 from middle position and Scott Margereson defended his big blind to see the {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. Margereson tapped to Boika who bet 136,500 and Margereson check-raised to 421,000.

Boika hit the tank but in the end, he shoved for a total of 1,340,946 and Margereson snap-called. Boika tabled {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for the nut flush draw and Margereson showed his {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts} giving him the current best hand with two pair.

The {2-Diamonds} turn left Margereson as the favorite and a {q-Diamonds} river sealed it for him, eliminating Boika from the field as Margereson took a commanding chip lead of the tournament.

Negreanu Continues to Chip-Up

Level 11 : 35,000/70,000, 8,500 ante

"P Tsokaridis" called a min-raise in the big blind from Daniel Negreanu and the {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop landed on the felt. Negreanu hit the tank after a check by "P Tsokaridis". He then shoved and "P Tsokaridis" called for less, putting in 499,905.

"P Tsokaridis" showed {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, giving them a pair of eights and Negreanu showed {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a straight draw.

The {7-Diamonds} turn card left Negreanu in need and a {j-Clubs} river is just what he was looking for, taking the pot with his pair of johnnies to send another opponent out the door.
