Zhang Over 10 Million After Knockout

Level 15 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Xiongbin "zxb8553624" Zhang kicked off the action with a raise to 200,000, and Dejan "627265" Kaladjurdjevic defended his big blind. The flop came down {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, and Kaladjurdjevic check shoved on Zhang, who called with {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} for an open ended straight draw. Kaladjurdjevic nailed the flop with {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, but the {k-Hearts} turn was a disaster for him.

He could still win with a club, queen, or five, but Zhang improved again on the {9-Hearts} river. With that pot, Zhang vaults into the top five of the chip counts.

Grospellier On Right Side of Preflop Cooler

Level 16 : 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante

Dante Fernandes was under the gun, and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier was in the big blind, when the two got into a huge confrontation that saw nearly eight million chips get into the middle. Grospellier held {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}, and he just had Fernandes beat, who held the second best possible hand, {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

Two face cards came on the flop, but neither were kings, and the finished board of {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} kept the aces in the lead, giving the French bracelet winner a big double up.

Runner Runner for McCully

Level 17 : 125,000/250,000, 30,000 ante

Action folded to "veca", and they shoved their short stack in holding {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. From the big blind, Joshua McCully put a small portion of his stack at risk holding {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

The flop of {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} didn't change much, but the {q-Clubs} on the turn quickly added a world of outs for McCully. One of those, the {k-Clubs}, came on the river, and McCully secured the knockout to increase his already big stack.

Naves Busts Planka in Biggest Pot of the Tournament

Level 17 : 125,000/250,000, 30,000 ante

Tauan Naves and Dominik Planka were heads up in what was already a massive pot of 4.7 million when the river came out. The board showed {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, and Planka checked from the small blind to Naves. He went for it all, moving all in for over 11 million. The bet actually set Planka all in, who had about 9 million behind. The pro went deep into the tank, but eventually found a call with {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a straight.

It was no good though, as Planka showed {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for a flush. With that pot, Naves is the first player over 20 million chips.
