The 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events will determine the second winner of a championship event during the ongoing festival on the fastest-growing online poker network today. Out of a field of 479 entries, only nine players remain in Event #8: $5,000 6-Handed Championship. Poker's most precious prize will be on the line as a gold bracelet is up for grabs, along with the top prize of $423,426.

Leading the field into the final day by some margin is Austrian-based German poker pro Daniel Smiljkovic with a stack just shy of 100 big blinds. "P0t RippeR", who is flying the flag of Cyprus on GGPoker, sits in second place with 65 big blinds whereas China's Xuming "scplayer" Qi is in third on a stack just under 50 big blinds. Other notables hoping to claim their first gold bracelet include George Wolff, Marius Gierse, and Aki "Seabossss" Virtanen.

All nine remaining contenders have $32,218 locked up. A spot on the seven-handed final table is just two eliminations away and will include a significant pay jump, too. At that time, the real names of all contenders will also be revealed.

While the action features levels of 15 minutes from the start, this will change to a fixed number of hands once the players combine to the final table.

Stay tuned to find out who joins the winner's circle, as the tournament recommences at 1 pm Eastern Standard Time. The PokerNews live reporting team will be there to provide conclusive updates until the champion has been crowned.

As the first player to act and far shortest stack, Roman Hrabec opened to 240,000 with fewer than half a big blind behind. "P0t RippeR" min-raised out of the big blind and Hrabec used a portion of his time bank before calling it off.

The {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop opened some chop outs but the {2-Spades} turn and {4-Clubs} river sealed Hrabec's fate in 9th place for $32,218.
