One WSOP gold bracelet. Three final tables. Fifteen cashes. That was the body of work of Ian "apokerjoker2" Steinman in last year's WSOP.com Online Bracelet Series, one that would be the envy of nearly everyone who fired in last year's version. Steinman, who already has been seeking action on some bracelet bets for this year's series, will be looking to duplicate his many deep runs and massive success this year.
Steinman's heater began last year with two final tables early in the series, with a fifth-place performance in Event #7: $800 NLH Knockout Deepstack for $24,578, followed by a sixth-place finish two days later in Event #9: $1,000 NLH 6-Max for $30,995. Steinman's bracelet would be earned late in the series, when he took down Event #27: $400 NLH Freezeout for $110,557 after beating Japan's Satoshi Tanaka in heads-up play. Steinman used these performances to take down the $100,000 Leaderboard competition of the WSOP.com portion of the series, which sent an additional $18,000 his way.
Steinman doesn't appear to be resting on his laurels in preparing for a summer of poker, however, already getting in some prep work by winning the Benny Binion Summer Shoot-Out at the South Point Poker Room for $65,000 after a three-way deal. As much as winning his first bracelet meant to Steinman, the quest for another crusher of a summer is on for the hyper-talented Steinman.
Michael "BrockLesnar" Holtz raised to 240 from early position and John "thirteen" Del Rossi three-bet jammed for 644 from the button. Aaron "Triple_A" Ho then four-bet to 2,100 from the big and Holtz got out of the way.
John "thirteen" Del Rossi:
Aaron "Triple_A" Ho:
It was a flip and Del Rossi was looking to hold ot stay alive. That didn't happen though as the board ran out to give Ho two pair.
Del Rossi was eliminated on the hand but opted to re-enter.

No stage in poker stood as a bigger goal for a tournament player than the final table of the WSOP Main Event. For years, that meant going to sleep knowing you had the chance of a lifetime, to go down in poker history in the next few days as the cameras captured your every bet, raise and fold.
All of that changed in 2008.
The year after Jerry Yang's Main Event victory was broadcast to all on ESPN's standard tape delay, organizers made a decision to try to increase the excitement and anticipation around the final table: after the final nine was reached, play would be paused. At that point, everyone left would go home with 9th-place money and the players would reconvene a few months later to play out the final table on a short tape delay.
That lasted until 2016, and this is the history of the November (and October) Nines.

Action folded to "dingles" on the button and they raised to 240. The small blind folded and then "jake.nothing" three-bet all in for 941. "dingles" called and the hands were turned up.
"dingles":
"jake.nothing":
The flop gave "jake.nothing" a set of sixes but they weren't out of the woods as "dingles" had a gutshot straight draw. Neither the turn nor river changed a thing and "jake.nothing" shipped the small double.
