Hoffman Eliminated in Three-Way Pot

Level 17

Stud Hi-Lo

Ross Hoffman {x-}{x-} / {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Qinghai Pan {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Everett Carlton {x-}{x-} / {4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Everett Carlton had bet on sixth street and was called by Ross Hoffman for almost all of his remaining chips. Qinghai Pan then raised, with Carlton calling and Hoffman now all in. After the cards were dealt on seventh street, Pan and Carlton each threw in another bet.
Hoffman turned over {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for two pair without a low. Pan revealed {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a full house, while Carlton showed {8-}{3-}{2-} for a made low to eliminate Hoffman.

Ho Wins Small Pot Off Williams

Level 18

Omaha Hi-Lo

On the tail end of a hand between Maria Ho and David Williams, the former check-called the {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} turn and then checked the {6-Diamonds} on the river. Williams checked back and was shown the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for queens and sixes by Ho. That won the pot as Williams briefly flashed top pair and the busted nut flush draw.

Yucius Denied a Double

Level 18

Omaha Hi-Lo

All but the last few chips of Donald Yucius were in the middle prior to the {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop on which he then jammed. Allen Kessler called and the cards were turned over.

Donald Yucius: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Allen Kessler: {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

"Make it interesting," Kessler said in table chat and got that with the {8-Spades} turn. He then earned the chop pot thanks to the {a-Spades} on the river. In the meanwhile, Refugio Quintero and Michael Rosenberg were both eliminated on different tables while Yucius remains very short.

Eli Elezra: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} / {6-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts} / {a-Clubs}

A large three-way pot saw Tony Hartmann at risk and George Alexander was debating whether or not to call a final bet by Eli Elezra. Ultimately, Alexander folded and said he had a full house. Hartmann revealed a set of jacks but Elezra made eights full of aces to send Hartmann to the rail.

Collopy Loses Some in Three-Way Action

Level 18

Stud Hi-Lo

Jim Collopy: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} / {x-}
Michael Trivett: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}
Barbara Enright: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{10-Spades}{a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} / {x-}

Another large three-way pot in Stud Hi-Lo saw Jim Collopy eventually muck on seventh street and he had to forfeit a portion of his stack. Michael Trivett showed the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of eights and a low while Barbara Enright won the high portion with just a pair of aces, as her {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} had no shot at the low.

Enright has chipped up significantly as of late and finds herself among the current big stacks.
