Wang Vanishes After Three-Way Pot

Level 12

Stud Hi-Lo

Howell Cheek: {k-Spades}{9-Clubs} / {6-Spades}{j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{k-Spades} / {q-Spades}
Daniel Negreanu: {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} / {4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} / {j-Spades}
Ziyuan Wang: {5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} / {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} / {q-Diamonds}

Ziyuan Wang was left with a mere 1,700 chips after he won the tiny side pot against Daniel Negreanu for the high pot. The main pot was chopped between Negreanu with the low and Howell Cheek as they had all turned over the cards on fifth street already.

One hand later, Cheek made a flush while Chad Eveslage had the low as Wang's board was already scooped. In PJ Cha, another short stack busted right after.

Zeidman Nearly Doubles

Level 12

Stud Hi-Lo

Cory Zeidman: {x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs} / {x-}
Christopher Chung: {x-}{x-} / {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts} / {x-}

Cory Zeidman sigh-checked and then called a bet by Christopher Chung on fifth while he had a pair of jacks showing. Chung then checked behind on sixth and seventh for Zeidman to reveal the {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} for jacks and sixes, which won the entire pot.

Zeidman was left short nonetheless and Bruce Hoyt then departed soon after from a different table.

Morozovs Left Short

Level 12

Omaha Hi-Lo

On the three-way turn of {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, John Monnette raised to 12,000 and Mihails Morozovs called all-in, while Qinghai Pan called. The {k-Diamonds} on the river saw another bet by Pan and a call by Monnette.

Morozovs tabled the {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} for the nut low, which Monnette also held with the {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Pan won the high pot with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Morozovs was left short after earning just a quarter of the pot.

More Assorted Betting Units and Casualties

Level 12

The field has already dwindled down to fewer than 130 players and among the latest casualties was also Randy Ohel. Four-time WSOP bracelet winner Anthony Zinno saw his stack reduced once more and he will need to pick up some heat soon.

Triple Up for Glantz

Level 12
Matt Glantz
Matt Glantz

Omaha Hi-Lo

Matt Glantz was already at risk preflop and Mark Gallo then folded on the {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop when Thomas Chung bet.

Matt Glantz: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Thomas Chung: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The {9-Hearts} turn paired up Glantz while Chung now had a flush draw. Nothing changed on the {2-Spades} river and Glantz tripled up.

Glaser Wins Another Pot Off Ichinose

Level 12

Seven Card Stud

Kosei Ichinose: {x-}{x-} / {4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} / {x-}
Benny Glaser: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} / {x-}

With plenty of chips already in the middle, Benny Glaser paired his ten on sixth and bet. Kosei Ichinose called and both ended up checking seventh. Glaser flipped over the {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} for tens and sevens, which won the pot as Ichinose mucked.
