Trivett Leaves Friedman Short

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Razz

Perry Friedman is short-stacked following a Razz cooler versus Michael Trivett.

With their boards reading as follows,

Michael Trivett: {x-}{x-}/{2-}{3-}{a-}{9-}/{x-}
Perry Friedman:{x-}{x-}/{5-}{3-}{8-}{9-}/{x-}

Trivett had bet every street against Friedman, who called down, including a snap-call on seventh street.

Trivett unveiled his hole cards and showed {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}{a-} to just beat Friedman's {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}.

Trivett's stack grows to one of the larger ones in the room, while Friedman has work to do to remain in the tournament.

Pescatori Fills Up; Freedman Eliminated

Wendy Freedman

Stud

Jake Schwartz: {x-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}/{x-}
Max Pescatori: {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}/{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}/{j-Diamonds}
Wendy Freedman: {8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}/{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}/{q-Spades}

With Freedman already all-in, Schwartz fired out a be on seventh street into the side pot versus Pescatori. After a brief hesitation, Pescatori raised and Schwartz called. It was the jacks full of eights of Pescatori's that bested the rest, which eliminated Freedman from the tournament.
