Glaser Eliminates Bell on the Bubble

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Chris Bell
Chris Bell

Omaha Hi-Lo

Benny Glaser raised from middle position and got a call from a short-stacked Chris Bell in the small blind.

On a flop of {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Bell check-called a bet from Glaser.

The turn came the {7-Diamonds}, and this time Bell led into Glaser who called.

On the {7-Spades} river, Bell moved all-in for his last 18,000 and Glaser happily called with {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the nut flush, which Bell couldn't beat, eliminating him on the bubble.

the remaining 23 players are all now guaranteed $16,218.

Silver Survives Near All-In

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Razz

Nate Silver controlled the betting lead through every street of a hand of Razz against Eric Rodawig, but by the end, his tournament life could have been at risk.

The players boards read:

Nate Silver: {x-}{x-}/{2-}{5-}{7-}{3-}/{x-}
Eric Rodawig: {x-}{x-}/{6-}{8-}{10-}{4-}/{x-}

As mentioned, Silver bet every street including seventh, leaving himself with just 13,000 chips behind. However, after the final bet Rodawig went into the tank, as he obviously hadn't hit what he was looking for.

Rodawig said "nice hand" and tossed his cards into the muck. His stack is still among the leaders, but Silver is back and healthy now as well with the win.

Flush No Good for Gerhart

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Stud

Kevin Gerhart: {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} / {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Kevin Song: {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} / {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-} / {3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts} -fold-

On fourth street, Kevin Gerhart bet, and both Kevin Song and Scott Seiver called.

Song paired on fifth to take the lead and led for 24,000, which prompted Seiver to fold. Gerhart raised to 48,000, Song called, and then both players checked on sixth.

On seventh, Song bet 24,000 and Gerhart called while saying, "Flush."

Gerhart tabled his hand but it was no good as Song tabled a better one and said, "Full house."

Gerhart Triples Up in Huge Stud Pot

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Kevin Gerhart
Kevin Gerhart

Stud

Picking the action up in a huge pot on sixth street, Kevin Gerhart, who was getting short on chips, and had already led the betting on earlier streets, continued betting versus Benny Glaser and Scott Seiver.

Their boards read:

Kevin Gerhart: {x-}{x-}/{3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}/{x-}
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-}/{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}/{x-}
Benny Glaser: {x-}{x-}/{a-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}/{x-}

Both players called, and on seventh street, Gerhart went all-in for the last of his chips. Glaser immediately folded, and Seiver gave it some thought, saying he had buried queens.

Ultimately, he folded and showed Gerhart the queens. Gerhart replied by turning over {3-Spades}{4-Hearts}, showing that he had a full house already.

The win sent Gerhart back over 300,000.

Linde Can't Shake Yockey

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Gary Benson: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{k-Hearts} -fold-
Bryce Yockey: {q-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs} / {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Dylan Linde: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades} / {k-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

Gary Benson had the bring-in with a deuce and Bryce Yockey completed showing a queen. Recent bracelet winner Dylan Linde called next to act and action folded back to Benson, who came along to fourth street.

Linde paired to take the lead but checked to Benson, who checked back. Yockey then bet, Linde check-raised to 24,000, and Benson folded. Yockey called and then proceeded to call bets of 24,000 from Linde on each street thereafter.

Linde tabled two pair fives and fours but it was no good as Yockey had kings up.

Schwartz Surging; Pan Getting Short

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Jake Schwartz
Jake Schwartz

Omaha Hi-Lo

Jake Schwartz was under 100,000 chips and in danger of being eliminated, but after scooping a three-way Omaha Hi-Lo pot and then the following hand versus the Day 1 chip leader Qinghai Pan, he's more than healthy again.

A raising war ensued preflop with Pan raising in early position, getting three-bet by Schwartz, then responding with a four-bet that Schwartz called in position.

Pan kept up the aggression, betting the {4-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. Schwartz called.

Pan bet and got called again on the {10-Diamonds} turn.

Finally, on the {4-Diamonds} river, Pan fired again and Schwartz quickly called.

Pan showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a bluff with missed low and Broadway draws. Schwartz showed {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for aces up to drag the sizable pot.
