Zufic Pays Off Schulman

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 0 ante

Jesse Lonis opened with a raise from under the gun and Nick Schulman three-bet on his left. Ivan Zufic stuck in a four-bet from the cutoff and only Schulman called.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Schulman check-called a bet from Zufic. The turn was the {6-Spades} and both players checked to the {10-Diamonds} on the river. Schulman threw in a bet and Zufic quickly called. Schulman flipped over {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for two pair and Zufic conceded.

Berrios Continues Fairytale Run

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 0 ante

Sean Berrios came into the day with just 8,000 chips but has managed to slowly climb his way to an average stack. Just moments ago, Berrios raised from under the gun and was called by the big blind. The flop came {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and the action checked to the {a-Hearts} on the turn.

The big blind checked again and Berrios threw in a bet. The big blind check-raised and Berrios just called. The river was the {9-Hearts} and the big blind led out with a bet. Berrios raised and his opponent quickly called.

Berrios showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for a full house while his opponent held {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a straight.

Mutter Quadruples, Schulman Takes the Side

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 0 ante

Brent Mutter was down to around 20,000 and with the help of some preflop raises from his tablemates, he was able to get all of his chips in the middle preflop.

The flop came {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Jesse Lonis led out with a bet from the big blind. Nick Schulman raised on his left which got the button to fold. Lonis three-bet and Schulman called.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Lonis led out with a bet again. Schulman just called this time and the {8-Spades} paired the board on the river. Lonis bet one more time and Schulman quickly called.

Lonis tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} but Schulman had a better two pair with {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Schulman scooped the side pot but Mutter won the pot with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a full house.
