Lau Loses Some

Level 28 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Ka Kwan Lau raised to 400,000 from the button and John Beauprez defended his big blind.

They both checked through the {2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop to the {8-Hearts} on the turn. Beauprez checked and Lau bet 325,000 which was called.

The river completed the board with the {2-Spades} and Beauprez checked for the final time. Lau did too.

Beauprez tabled the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for the higher two pair than on the board to claim the pot for Lau to lose two in a row after having lost one before to Shaun Deeb.
