Mueller Busts in Big Pot Against Julia

Level 12
Greg Mueller
Greg Mueller

No-Limit Hold'em

In a preflop three-bet hand, a massive pot emerged to the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{3-Clubs} river on which table chip leader Nicholas Julia moved forward a wall of chips for more than 160,000. Greg Mueller had around 130,000 behind and was in the tank. He eventually called it off as Julia announced the nuts and tabled {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Mueller exposed {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a flush with the ten and was eliminated. He wished everyone good luck, bumped fists and headed out of the tournament area. Julia appears to be the current chip leader by a wide margin towards the end of the second level on Day 2.

Level 11
Felipe Ramos
Felipe Ramos

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a flop of {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Felipe Ramos was all-in out of the small blind against Roland Israelashvili and they flipped over their cards.

Felipe Ramos: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Roland Israelashvili: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

Ramos had a gutshot and back door flush draws while Israelashvili had two pair with back door hearts and diamond draws. The {9-Hearts} turn and {2-Diamonds} river failed to provide any help to Ramos and he was eliminated.
