Welcome to Day 1c, the third of four starting flights in Event 64: $888 Crazy Eights No-Limit Hold’em. It's one of the more unique tournaments on the World Series schedule, and it’s all about the eights. In addition to the $888 buy-in, the winner will receive $888,888 in prize money, and tables are played eight-handed.
In 2019, Rick Alvarado outlasted 10,085 entrants to take home the $888,888 in cash, and the WSOP gold bracelet.
Players taking their seats will start with 40,000, and unlimited re-entries are allowed through the close of registration. The schedule for Day 1c will consist of 22 levels at 30 minutes each, with a 20-minute break after every four levels of play. Registration will close at approximately 7:55 p.m. at the end of the 12th level and those players lucky enough to find a bag at the end of play will return on Monday, November 15th at 12 noon local time.
