Alexander Farahi
Alexander Farahi

Alexander Farahi in the small blind limp called a raise to 875,000 from David Goodman.

The flop came {k-Spades}{a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and Farahi checked to Goodman who continued for 350,000. Farahi called to send the action to the turn.

Both players checked the {8-Clubs} turn. On the {7-Clubs} river Farahi led into the preflop raiser for 2,400,000. Goodman did not hesitate for long before calling but was shown {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} by Farahi for flopped trips, a hand Goodman could not beat.

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Alexander Farahi called in the small blind and in the big blind, David Goodman moved all-in for 5,550,000 which Farahi snap-called.

David Goodman: {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Alexander Farahi: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

Farahi's Four Ducks

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Alexander Farahi
Alexander Farahi

Scott Seiver called in the small blind and in the big blind, Alexander Farahi checked his action.

The flop rolled off {k-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Seiver check-called a bet of 300,000 from Farahi.

The turn {4-Clubs} saw Seiver check once more and Farahi sized up to 900,000, which Seiver still called.

The river {2-Clubs} saw Seiver check once more, and Farahi bet 2,000,000. After some time, Seiver called and Farahi turned over {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for four twos. Seiver shook his head and tossed his hand into the muck.

Seiver Comes From Behind to Survive

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

Scott Seiver opened to 600,000 on the button. The small blind got out of the way to send the action to David Goodman in the big blind. Goodman three-bet to 5,400,000, enough to put Seiver all in. Seiver did end up making the call to put himself at risk.

Scott Seiver: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
David Goodman: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Seiver was in trouble and would need a lot of help to survive. That help came in the form of a {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop, which left Goodman drawing to a jack. The {k-Diamonds} turn and {q-Diamonds} river ran out clean for Seiver, however, and ensured that three handed play will continue for the time being.

David Goodman Eliminated in 3rd Place ($139,193)

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
David Goodman
David Goodman

Alexander Farahi raised to 600,000 from the button and David Goodman moved all in for 5,700,000 from the small blind. Scott Seiver then re-jammed for 9,900,000 and Farahi folded.

David Goodman: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Scott Seiver: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Goodman was behind and at risk. The {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} brought no help and the {7-Hearts} left Goodman drawing to just three outs. Unfortunately for him the {j-Hearts} river was not one of those outs and ended Goodman's impressive run in 3rd place, a score worth $139,193.
