So far, the field has already increased to 58 entries more than half-way through the first level of the day. Several new tables have opened to accommodate the growing field and the next batch of notable entries will be made available shortly.
Allen Kessler called from the small blind after a button raise from Daniel Strelitz, and check-called a bet on the flop. Strelitz bet again on the turn and Kessler called to see the river.
Both players checked, and Kessler turned over to remain close to starting stack.
Bryce Yockey was among the latest entries in the field and he immediately won a small pot in Omaha Hi-Lo. When raising the button, he was called by Thomas Taylor in the small blind, who then check-folded the flop.
Shortly after, Frankie O'Dell raised from under the gun to get called by Taylor on the button and Andres Korn in the small blind. On the flop, Korn checked and O'Dell bet to earn calls from both opponents. Korn check-folded the turn to O'Dell's bet and Taylor's call.
After the river, O'Dell bet and Taylor called as they chopped it with the for the former and the for Taylor.
Several bets each went into the middle between Nate Silver and Daniel Strelitz throughout a board of on which Silver ended up losing a bigger chunk of chips in showdown. He had the for aces full of fours but Strelitz tabled the for the nut nut, a straight flush.
He didn't even realise it at first only when it was pointed out to him by the other players at the table. "I knew I had a wheel and a flush," Strelitz responded in table chat.

Picking up the action on fourth street, Bryce Yockey bet and Thomas Taylor raised, Kenny Hsiung then made it three bets and both opponents called. Taylor bet fifth to receive two calls and bet again sixth. Hsiung folded and Yockey called.
On seventh, Taylor check-called and Yockey tabled the for a seventy-five to win the pot.
Michael Trivett and Randy Ohel were involved in a small tussle in which Ohel bet the last three streets. Trivett called and was shown the by Ohel for a seventy-six, which was good enough to win the pot and cement the good start for Ohel. On the same table is now also John Monnette, who jumped in recently and already chipped up.

Chris Grigorian bet fifth street to get called by Kane Kalas and Mike Wattel, the latter of which checked sixth. Grigorian bet to receive two calls and the same action repeated on seventh. Grigorian revealed the for a pair of sevens and a low while Kalas had the for jacks and sevens to earn the high portion.
