Ian Johns and Mike Matusow got their chips in with Johns at risk. Both had aces right from the get-go and it was Johns who improved to aces and tens on sixth. Matusow only had a king as out to scoop and spiked it on the final card to send Johns to the rail in daunting fashion.
Kristijonas Andrulis opened to see Brad Ruben quickly three-bet. Koray Aldemir followed with a four-bet, and only Ruben called. By fifth street, the remainder of Aldemir's stack was in the middle.
Aldemir was unable to improve on sixth or seventh, ending his run just short of the money.
With the ante denting his very short stack every hand, it was just a matter of time until Ray Henson was to get his chips in and that happened almost immediately after the action resumed.

Wong improved on every street to leave Henson drawing dead after sixth to further boost his stack.
Picking up the action on fifth street right when Jeff Madsen folded to a bet by Mike Matusow, Bryce Yockey called. On sixth street, Yockey had the lead with an ace and check-raised for Matusow to call. Seventh street brought a bet by Yockey and Matusow quickly raised with just a handful of chips behind.
"Take it," Yockey said and mucked his for aces and nines alongside a busted nut flush draw. Matusow smashed his cards on the felt and exposed for sevens full of eights before stacking up the sizable pot.
Four ways to the flop, Craig Chait checked in the small blind and Koray Aldemir bet in the big blind out of a short stack. Mike Gorodinsky called from under the gun and Kristijonas Andrulis raised, Chait called and Aldemir went all-in- Gorodinsky tank-folded while Andrulis reraised to 31,000 for Chait to call.
On the turn, Chait check-called a bet and did so again on the river. Aldemir tabled the for the nut low, which Andrulis also had with the . Chait had the for a straight and won the high pot.
Aldemir was then all-in after the flop against Hansu Chu and turned over the . Chu had the and the turn as well as river improved Aldemir on each street to scoop a double.
With plenty of chips already in the middle, Carol Fuchs and Eric Rodawig were heads up on the runout.
Fuchs bet on the river, only to be raised by Rodawig. Fuchs made the call and was shown the as Rodawig had made a straight flush. Fuchs flipped over her while saying "nice hand".
Michael McKenna in the hijack and Ralph Perry in the cutoff were involved in a heads-up pot to the river that was checked through. McKenna tabled the which was good enough to win the pot. Perry only had a few chips behind after he mucked.

While having all the outs in the world for a straight, Sagstrom bricked and crumbled his down cards with the words "no good". The nines and eights of Bryce Yockey won it all and he lamented that it was the first pot he claimed in the level.
"Except for that one hand where you incinerated my face," Mike Matusow chimed in and several players nodded in agreement before mentioning an aces up hand right at the start of the level.
Yockey sits atop the leaderboard closely followed by Mike Gorodinsky, who had just dispatched Andre Akkari.
Andrew Yeh: / folded on fifth
Travis Trail: / folded on fifth
Christina Hill: / /
Matt Szymaszek: / /
Matt Szymaszek bet on fourth street to earn three callers and then bet again fifth, which forced a fold from Andrew Yeh and Travis Trail. Christina Hill called and led sixth when Szymaszek paired his deuce, who then got the last of his chips in only to get snap-called.
Hill tabled the wheel and Szymaszek found no miracle chop after spiking a queen as final card.
Donny Rubinstein got out of the way on what appeared to have been fifth street while Chris Tryba raised on sixth and Kevin Song then reraised for Tryba to get his last 25,000 into the middle. Both players had the exact identical hand until then when they flipped em over.
"Just let me know if I have to improve," Tryba demanded and Song peeled very slowly to then expose the for the gin card. Treby was left with a miracle to a chop if he caught a deuce as well but instead spiked a king to hit the rail.
Bryce Yockey and Shirley Rosario were in a battle of the blinds on a flop showing . Yockey check-called a bet from Rosario to the turn, and did the same to the river.
Yockey then check-raised Rosario on the river, producing a fold to take it down.
On the very next hand, Yockey got two streets of value from Mike Matusow after flopping a straight on the runout. Yockey turned over after being called on the river, adding more chips to his growing stack.
