Shane Nardiello raised to 100,000 from under the gun and in the big blind, Lars Nickolai called.

The flop rolled off and Nickolai checked to Nardiello who bet 200,000. Nickolai moved all in for 505,000 and Nardiello called, revealing both hands.

The turn and river came out and Nickolai could not find any help with his flush draw and straight draw combo. Nardiello's kings held up as the best hand and Nickolai left the tournament area in 21st.

Saechao Sends Barat Out With Aces

There was about 450,000 in the middle already on the turn when Botond Barat bet 430,000.

Kao Saechao called and the river was the . Saechao led this time for 200,000 more, enough to cover Barat, and he called.

Barat had missed his straight and flush draws but still held a pair of queens. Saechao had that beat thought with , and his pair of aces to send him a huge pot.

Stefansky Clips Riordan With Trips

There was about 200,000 on the river when John Riordan bet 100,000 and Joshua Stefansky quickly called.

Riordan showed for a pair of kings, but Stefansky had it beat with for trip fives.

The Day 1 chip leader dragged the pot and remains near the top of the leaderboard with just 38 players remaining.

Holtz Flops a Flush To Survive

Before the level change, John Riordan opened to 35,000 and Michael Holtz three-bet to 130,000. Riordan pushed forward a stack of 500,000 and Holtz called all in for his last 385,000.

Stout Correctly Folds a Straight Flush

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Matt Stout made a sick fold and relayed the hand history to PokerNews.

The player under the gun made it 25,000 and was called by the player to his left, the hijack, the button, and Stout from the big blind.

The action checked all the way down to the river and Stout led for 100,000.

It folded back to the hijack who raised to 300,000. The button then moved all in for 800,000 effective. Stout folded a straight flush to the nine and the hijack called.

The hijack turned over an ace-high flush but the button held a a straight flush to the jack.

Stout would bust shortly after but the next-level fold kept him from busting on the hand.

Williams Shows The Bluff

David Williams raised to 40,000 in early position and was called by Jared Koppel in the small blind and Matthew Newcombe in the big blind.

The board of checked through to the river, where Newcombe bet out 90,000 when checked to. Williams decided to raised to 270,000 which folded out Koppel and Newcombe flashed before tossing his hand into the muck.
