Barat Knocks Out Berry

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Will Berry opened to 40,000 from early position and in the small blind, Botond Barat three-bet the size of the pot to put Berry to the test. Berry called all in for his remaining 106,000.

Will Berry: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Botand Barat: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Berry's turned wheel was no good against Barat's rivered flush and Berry exited the tournament area.

Ibanez Takes From Hui

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Phil Hui raised to 35,000 on the button and saw Johann Ibanez call from the big blind.

The flop of {3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} saw Ibanez check to Hui who continued for 30,000 and Ibanez called.

The turn of {2-Clubs} and river of {q-Hearts} checked through and Ibanez turned over {6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a flopped flush, which was good for the pot.

Nanev Doubles Through Riordan

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Rumen Nanev
Rumen Nanev

Rumen Nanev limped in for 15,000 from early position and John Riordan raised it to 40,000 on his left. Nanev then reraised to 100,000 more and Riordan called.

The flop came {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Nanev continued for 50,000. Riordan min-raised to 100,000 and Nanev called.

Both players checked the turn {10-Spades} and the {9-Diamonds} river peeled off. Nanev checked and Riordan shuffled some chips before shoving with enough to cover. Nanev snap-called and showed {q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for a full house, queens full of fours, and Riordan mucked.

Williams Shows The Bluff

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
David Williams
David Williams

David Williams raised to 40,000 in early position and was called by Jared Koppel in the small blind and Matthew Newcombe in the big blind.

The board of {10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} checked through to the river, where Newcombe bet out 90,000 when checked to. Williams decided to raised to 270,000 which folded out Koppel and Newcombe flashed {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} before tossing his hand into the muck.

Williams flipped over {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} for no pair as he took down the pot he had bluffed into.

Stout Correctly Folds a Straight Flush

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Matt Stout
Matt Stout

Matt Stout made a sick fold and relayed the hand history to PokerNews.

The player under the gun made it 25,000 and was called by the player to his left, the hijack, the button, and Stout from the big blind.

The action checked all the way down to the {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades} river and Stout led for 100,000.

It folded back to the hijack who raised to 300,000. The button then moved all in for 800,000 effective. Stout folded {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} a straight flush to the nine and the hijack called.

The hijack turned over {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{x-}{x-} an ace-high flush but the button held a {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} a straight flush to the jack.

Stout would bust shortly after but the next-level fold kept him from busting on the hand.
