Marder Chips Up

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

From the cutoff, Michael Marder raised to 2,000 and received a call from the big blind. The brightly, painted flop came down {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. The big blind checked to Marder who bet 1,300 and received a call.

A {q-Diamonds} came on the turn to double pair the board and this time it was the big blind who bet, tossing out 3,200 which Marder called.

On the {3-Spades} river, it was checked to Marder and he bet 15,500. The big blind instantly folded and Marder took the pot without having to show.

Jorden Verbraeken
Jorden Verbraeken

There was already 6,000 in the pot when Jorden Verbraeken and his heads-up opponent checked the {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop.

A {3-Hearts} came out on the turn, and Verbraeken called his opponent's 3,500 bet.

The river was a {4-Spades}. After much deliberation, his opponent check-called Verbraeken's 11,000 bet.

Verbraeken showed his {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and won the pot when his opponent then mucked.

Vaisman Gets a Knockout

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The small blind moved all in for 10,600, received a call from big blind, Felix Vaisman and the cards were on their backs.

Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Felix Vaisman: {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The flop hit Vaisman hard with {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} showing up and his opponent stood up knowing he was done for. The {9-Clubs} turn and {4-Diamonds} river couldn't save him and Vaisman's trip jacks were good to take down the pot and send his opponent to the rail.

Bartello Cracks Queens and Jacks to Stay Alive

Level 9 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Vincent Bartello and two opponents were seen with all of their chips in the middle and Bartello was at risk for 30,000, covering the third player who had about 16,000.

Vincent Bartello: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Opponent One: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Opponent Two: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Shao Makes a Bike to Send One Out

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Island Shao raised in middle position and was called by the player on his left before the big blind jammed for 9,000 as he said, "You guys knew this was coming." Claiming to have just lost kings versus aces shortly before.

Both Shao and the player to his left made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {5-Diamonds} on the turn. Shao led out for 9,000 and was looked up reasonably quickly.

The {8-Clubs} completed the board and Shao eyed up his chips, looking as if he was about to shove all in but instead grabbed 20,000 in red chips and dropped them across the line. His opponent instantly folded and he tabled the {a-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a bicycle straight and his opponent walked away from the table with his cards face down before the dealer revealed his {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}.
