Baik Shoves River to Force Laydown

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

The flop was {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Spades} and Lakwon Baik was in the big blind when he called a bet from his heads-up opponent in the small blind for 2,000.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and this time the small blind checked so Baik fired out a pot-sized bet for 6,000 and his opponent had to take a second to think.

"Come on, just put the money in," Baik goaded him, and it seemed to work as he did indeed put the money in to call.

The river was the {7-Diamonds} and the small blind checked again and Baik moved all in, but his opponent quickly mucked.
