Level 8

Razz

Mike Matusow: {x-}{x-}/{8-}{5-}{10-}{j-}/{x-}
Adam Friedman: {7-}{3-}{2-}/{8-}{a-}{q-}{5-}

Action started on fourth with Mike Matusow betting his eight-five showing, Adam Friedman calling with his eight-ace.

On fifth, Matusow bet again, Friedman called. That would happen on sixth as well.

Both players checked the final street. Matusow was reluctant to show, but implied that he paired seventh even though some of those outs were folded by other players.

Friedman turned over the seventy-five to take down the pot.

Negreanu Can't Come Up With a Hand He Can Beat

Level 8
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Limit Hold'em

Daniel Negreanu raised from the cutoff, only Christina Hill called in the big blind.

The flop showed up {9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. Hill checked-called a bet from Negreanu.

On the {5-Spades} turn, Hill checked again, Negreanu then checked behind.

The river fell the {4-Spades} and Hill led into Negreanu with a bet.

"I'm trying to think of a hand I can beat," said Negreanu. "It might take a while," he chuckled. After a few seconds, he folded.

Hill went to muck her cards.

"Come on, show him the bluff," said a tablemate. "Put him on tilt."

"I'm already on tilt," joked Negreanu. "You're not going to make it any worse."

It's Miller's Time...For a Four-bet

Level 9

Limit Hold'Em

Joseph Miller saw a middle position player raise and the hijack 3-bet before action made its way to him. He put in the four-bet from the small blind and both opponents called.

The flop came out {6-Clubs}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Miller bet. Both of his opponents again called.

The turn paired the top card when the {k-Clubs} showed. All three players checked.

The river was the {8-Clubs}, once again all three players checked.

"Queens," announced Miller, showing {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

"You have queens?" double-checked his opponent, a little surprised. Indeed he did, and it was good enough to take it down.

Gerhart Has an Active Limit Hold'em Round

Level 9
Kevin Gerhart
Kevin Gerhart

Action picked up heading to a river in a heads-up pot between Kevin Gerhart and Nick Pupillo. The full board read {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

From early position, Pupillo led out with a bet. Gerhart fairly quickly raised from late position. Pupillo responded with a shrug call of his own.

"Ace-queen," said Gerhart, showing {a-}{q-}. Pupillo mucked.

"Write that down," said Gerhart. "Kevin Gerhart played every single hand of the Limit Hold'em round. And I had queens, jacks, tens, eights, ace-ten, ace-three, and ace-queen. And I'm down chips."

"And he got bluffed," laughed a tablemate.

"I did get bluffed off of ace-high," clarified Gerhart.
