Jonathan Williams Eliminated in 21st Place ($6,835)

Level 21
Jonathan Williams
Jonathan Williams

Omaha 8 or Better

After a short-stacked John Racener raised in early position, an even shorter-stacked Jonathan Williams moved all in for his last 62,000.

After the floor was called to clarify for Andrew Brown if he could re-raise to 87,000, it was confirmed that he could, so he did. Racener called, leaving himself with just 86,000 behind.

On the {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Brown checked and Racener bet. Brown then check-raised, and Racener tossed his cards frustratedly into the muck, leaving Brown heads up against Williams.

Jonathan Williams: {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Andrew Brown: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}

Brown's aces were ahead and after the runout of {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Brown's full house took down the pot and sent Williams to the payout desk.

Yarron Bendor: {a-}{2-}{10-}/{8-}{5-}{7-}{9-}
Andrew Brown: {4-}{6-}/{9-}{a-}{10-}{2-}/{9-}

John Racener was nursing a very short stack before getting it all in on third street against two opponents.

Action on the side, Yarron Bendor bet every street up until seventh and Andrew Brown called all the way down.

They both checked seventh street and cards were turned over.

Bendor's eighty-seven was the best hand at the end, as Brown drew an unhelpful nine on seventh and Racener was third-best and eliminated.

With multiple bets in the middle, action picked up on sixth streets with both players electing to check.

Andrew Brown checked dark heading to seventh, and Yarron Bendor went for the bet. Brown called quickly.

"Full house," said Bendor.

"You don't miss, do you?" said Brown. "Two pair just turns into a full house every time."

Brown had the better two pair going into seventh, but Bendor drilled the nine to go with his nines in the hole.

John Bunch: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}/{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Spades}/{a-Clubs}
Yarron Bendor: {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}/{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}/{10-Diamonds}

Yarron Bendor's Stud heater continued as he recently got the last of John Bunch's chips to add to his growing stack.

Bunch's last chips went in on fifth street, holding ace-high and four to a wheel, while Bendor held a pair of threes.

Sixth street gave Berndor a low draw, while the {10-Spades} gave Bunch a flush draw.

Bendor then drew a second ten on seventh to give him two pair, while Bunch squeezed the {a-Clubs}, which left him with just aces when he needed to make a low, flush, or wheel to save himself from a trip to the payout desk.

After his stack was repeatedly decimated by Yarron Bendor in the last Stud round, Andrew Brown got his last 100,000 chips in against Perry Friedman.

By the time seventh street arrived, Brown had four to a straight and four to a low that could potentially keep him alive, but after looking at his final card, he tossed it into the muck and wished the table luck as he departed for the payout desk.

Jordan Siegel Eliminated in 17th Place ($6,835)

Jordan Siegel

Jordan Siegel raised from the small blind with a short stack and was called by Roberto Marin in the big blind.

The flop came out {9-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Siegel moved all in for less than one bet. After some thought, Marin decided to call.

Jordan Siegel: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Roberto Marin: {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Siegel just needed to avoid a ten or running cards. Unfortunately for him, the {10-Diamonds} hit the turn, leaving him drawing to two outs. He couldn't hit them on the {4-Spades} river, so he was eliminated.

Wang's Decision to Continue Pays Off

Lena Wang: {a-}{9-}{3-}/{7-}{q-}{5-}{9-}
joseph Thomas: {a-}{8-}{2-}/{8-}{4-}{4-}{9-}
Yarron Bendor: {x-}{x-}/{6-}{6-}{j-} - folded fifth street

After Lena Wang completed, there was a bit of confusion regarding Yarron Bendor's intention to raise or call the bet based on how he had placed his chips forward and when he had said "raise", as Joseph Thomas had put forward calling chips for the value of the original completion of 30,000 as Bendor had placed his chips.

The floor ruled that his bet would be just a call. Thomas's call stood as well and the trio went to fourth street.

Thomas caught best and bet, sending Wang into a brief tank as she was starting to get short-stacked. Ultimately she decided to continue and called, as did Bendor.

On fifth street, Wang took the betting lead. Bendor folded picking up a jack and Thomas called.

Wang bet sixth street and Thomas called. On seventh street, both players checked.

Wang showed a nine-seven, which pipped Thomas' nine-eight to earn a healthy pot just before break.
