Bracelet winners Alex Foxen (456,000), David "ODB" Baker (401,000), Yuri Dzivielevski (320,000), and Hossein Ensan (292,000) will be among the chipleaders when the action resumes at Noon on Sunday, 17 July.

When the day ended prematurely, the clock showed a total of 208 remaining from 574 registrations; however, this total will be confirmed at the start of Day 2.

Other notable names such as Liv Boeree, Mike Matusow, Igor Kurganov, Henrik Hecklen and Dietrich Fast will also return.

Today's eliminations included Loni Hui, Will Kassouf, Mustapha Kanit, Kenny Hallaert, Chance Kornuth, Chino Rheem, Nacho Barbero and Boris Kolev.

Chino Rheem shoved his final 26,500 into the middle from the small blind and 2022 World Series of Poker Player of the Year favorite Daniel Zack called from the big blind.

Zack picked up a straight draw on the flop, though Rheem stayed ahead.

However, Zack smashed the turn and Rheem was left drawing to two outs.

The river was the and Rheem was eliminated while Zack chipped up to roughly 75,000.

Vieira Spikes Turn on Kiletto

Lily Kiletto opened from the hijack for 7,000 and was called by Joao Vieira, who won his second-career WSOP bracelet yesterday, in the big blind.

The flop came and Kiletto continued for 8,000. Vieira called.

On the turn, both players checked. However, on the river, Vieira put out a bet of 10,000 and was snapped off by Kiletto.

Joao Vieira showed and Kiletto said "You turn me every time!" while showing the and mucking her hand.

Another Stacked Table, Eveslage Wins Out

After Chad Eveslage had raised under-the-gun, just the big blind called and they were heads-up to a board. Eveslage continuation bet to 4,000 when checked to and his opponent called.

On a turn card, he then made it 9,000 when his opponent once again called after checking it to the recent bracelet winner.

When a completed the board, Eveslage moved all in for around 42,000 and got the call he hoped for as he tabled against the of his adversary.

Ved Wins Big Early Three-Way All In

The button opened to 5,000 and Mark Davis called from the small blind. Kartik Ved went all in for 62,000 from the big blind and the button called for 53,000. Davis considered for just under a minute before making the call.

Glaser Battles Shorr

Action was picked up with Benny Glaser in the small blind and Shannon Shorr in the big blind with 7,500 in the center.

The board read and both players checked to the turn that saw Glaser bet 5,000 and Shorr call.

On the river Glaser sized up to 12,500 and Shorr folded, giving Glaser the pot.

At another table Kenny Hallaert was seen leaving his seat. As this was his second buy-in, he will not be able to reenter anymore.

Hellmuth Potentially Gets Revenge on Chadha

With 14,000 in the middle on a board, Carlos Chadha bet 13,000 from the big blind and was snap-called by Phil Hellmuth in the seat to his left.

On the river, Chadha put in a bet of 28,500, leaving just 500 chips behind. Hellmuth would fold face up and Chadha would take down the pot.

However, just a couple of minutes later, Hellmuth was seen with an inflated stack of 168,000 while Chadha was decimated and on just 4,000 chips, suggesting Hellmuth may have exacted revenge on his younger counterpart.

Baker With Huge Three-Way All In Win, Busts Kanit

Action was opened by Elio Fox in early position to 4,100 and once folded to Kanit in the hijack, he moved all in for around 50,000. Next to act, David ''ODB'' Baker then moved all in for around 83,000 and it folded back to Elio Fox who called.
