Chance Kornuth

Chance Kornuth opened to 4,000 from the hijack and Dario Sammartino three-bet to 16,000 from the small blind. Kornuth would take his time before virtually shoving, leaving a few chips behind. Sammartino went over the top and Kornuth was all in for 58,500 total.

Chance Kornuth: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Dario Sammartino: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Billy O'Neil
Billy O'Neil

There was roughly 65,000 in the pot on a {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} board when Billy O'Neil put in a bet of 39,000, leaving about 80,000 behind.

His big blind opponent immediately remarked: "So, you got luckier than me, huh? You have no idea what I have!" before going into the tank for about two minutes.

The player would eventually fold {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} face up and O'Neil said "Wow, that's a big fold" without saying whether or not he had the winner.

With 14,000 in the middle on a {2-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board, Carlos Chadha bet 13,000 from the big blind and was snap-called by Phil Hellmuth in the seat to his left.

On the {k-Diamonds} river, Chadha put in a bet of 28,500, leaving just 500 chips behind. Hellmuth would fold {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} face up and Chadha would take down the pot.

However, just a couple of minutes later, Hellmuth was seen with an inflated stack of 168,000 while Chadha was decimated and on just 4,000 chips, suggesting Hellmuth may have exacted revenge on his younger counterpart.

Anton Wigg
Anton Wigg

Heads-up to a river on a board of {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, Felipe Ketzer had bet 11,000 into a pot of about 25,000 from the cutoff.

With action back on the Swede, Anton Wigg, he didn't take long to throw in calling chips as Ketzer tabled {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for a bluff, against the {q-Spades}{10-Spades} two-pair of Wigg.

A good start still from both Wigg and the Florianpolis, Brazil native, Ketzer.
