Aldemir Makes the Right Call

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Koray Aldemir and Irfan Karajic were heading to a river in a heads-up pot with 125,000 up for grabs. The board read {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs} and the {a-Diamonds} had just hit the river.

Aldemir led for a very small bet of 10,000 from under the gun. Karajic raised to 36,000. Aldemir thought for a bit before reluctantly tossing in the call.

Karajic showed {k-Spades}{10-Spades} but Aldemir had that beat with {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} for the winner.
