Farha With a Monster Stack Early

Action was picked up when Sammy Farha put in a four-bet to 10,700 in the hijack. A player in the small blind then put in a five-bet to 42,000, only leaving 3,700 chips behind. Farha then put in the six-bet to put the player all in, and he made the call.

Farha was ahead with his pair of aces and when the board ran out J♥10♣J♠7♠3♥ it was Farhas's aces still best, eliminating a player and now sitting with a huge stack.

A player under the gun raised to 800 and was called by the hijack and the button. Mike Matusow, down to just 400 chips, called to be all-in from the small blind. The big blind made the call as well.

The flop came 6♠Q♥5♥ and all the players checked to see a turn.

The turn was the 6♥ and the big blind made a bet for 1300 and was called by the under the gun player.

After the 7♥ river, both players checked, and the big blind reveled a king high flush for the high, and the under the gun player showed down ace-three to chop the pot. Matusow mucked his hand and was eliminated.

Action was five-way to the 7♣K♦9♦ flop, when Shaun Deeb fired 20,000 from the big blind. Scott Clements answered with a pot-sized raise to 82,000, producing folds around the table before Deeb committed the rest of his stack.

Clements flopped a set of kings, improving to a full house after the Q♥ turn and 9♣ river to send Deeb to the rail. Clements then added another sizeable pot shortly after, climbing well over the 500,000 mark.

Then the 4♣ on the river did improve the all-in player to a bigger full house, but the threes-full of nine was still the best high hand, and because of the four hitting on the river, Bohlman also had the best low with six-seven.
