Not Much Flop Action

In a sequence of seven hands in a row, none of them progressed beyond the flop.

In the first hand, Michael Liang raised to 2,600,000 from the button and Duc Nguyen called in the small blind. The flop came A♣2♥J♦. Liang continued for 2,000,000 and Nguyen folded.

Following a walk for Manoj Batavia, Rajesh Mehta jammed two consecutive times, from the button and from the cutoff and both times it got through.

Mehta also raised out of the big blind over a small blind limp from Nguyen who folded as he increased his stack through collecting the blinds.

The flop came 9♣8♠J♦ and Nguyen check-raised all in over Mehta's continuation-bet of 5,200,000. Mehta made the call, putting himself at risk.

Michael Liang raised to 3,200,000 under the gun, Duc Nguyen flatted in the cutoff, and Manoj Batavia three-bet shoved all in from the small blind for 11,100,000, putting himself at risk. Liang and Nguyen both called.

Liang and Nguyen checked it all the way down on a board of 9♣5♦6♣Q♠Q♥. Liang tabled A♣6♦, Nguyen turned over 3♦3♥, and Batavia had 5♥5♣.

Batavia's full house, fives full of queens, secured him the much needed triple up.

Duc Nguyen raised under the gun, Manoj Batavia called on the button. The flop came 3♠A♦7♠. Nguyen bet 3,200,000 and Batavia called.

The turn was the 8♥. Nguyen led for 7,400,000 and Batavia called again.

The river came the 5♥. Nguyen fired out 16,000,000. Batavia called quickly once again.

Nguyen tabled the A♥K♠ to take the big pot as Batavia showed A♣J♥ and was left with a handful of big blinds.

The next hand, action folded around to Rajesh Mehta in the small blind, who limped. Batavia moved all in from the big blind, putting himself at risk again, and Mehta tossed his cards into the muck.
