Scary Board for Eilers

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Benjamin Eilers raised from early position to 2,500,000, and Weizheng Zhong called from the small blind.

Both players checked the 4KA flop.

The turn brought the 10 and both players knuckled the table again. The river saw the K and again both players checked.

Eilers let out a sigh of relief as he saw that his QQ was good and he was pushed the pot.

Acevedo Holds to Send Ellerbe Out

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Michael Acevedo
Michael Acevedo

Michael Acevedo raised from under the gun to 2,400,000 and Diana Allen called in the cutoff. Mark Ellerbe shoved from the small blind for 11,250,000 and after some thinking, Acevedo called. Allen folded.

Mark Ellerbe: KQ All in
Michael Acevedo: A10

Ellerbe was behind and didn't catch any of the 546 flop. An A on the turn sealed it as Acevedo paired his ace, which left Ellerbe drawing dead. The J river was just a formality, and Ellerbe headed to the exit.

Wilklow Scores a Huge Double-Up

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

A huge hand just propelled Michael Wilklow up the counts.

Weizheng Zhong opened to 2,500,000 and Wilklow had called from the big blind to see a flop of 410A. Wilklow check-called a bet from Zhong to the 6 turn, where again Wilklow checked. Zhong fired out 9,000,000, and Wilklow called.

A 7 completed the runout and Wilklow checked again, then Zhong shoved for around 28,000,000. Wilklow had 21,550,000 behind and needed just a few moments before he tossed in the call, putting his tournament at risk.

Zhong then showed AQ for top pair, but Wilklow had the winner with 107 for two pair and scored a huge double-up.

Dinh Left on Fumes

Level 39 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

Diana Allen raised from late position to 4,000,000 and Thai Dinh moved all in for 17,900,000 from the cut off. Allen snap called, and she was, in fact, the player at risk as Dinh had her covered.

Diana Allen: KK All in
Thai Dinh: AK

A clean flop of Q107 for Allen. The turn of 9 gave Dinh little help, and the 2 brick on the river left him with under one big blind.

Weizheng Zhong Eliminated in 26th Place ($39,180)

Level 39 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante
Weizheng Zhong
Weizheng Zhong

Weizheng Zhong, in middle position, took his time to mull over his action before he raised to 7,025,000, leaving one 25,000 chip behind. Both Cameron Blazevich and Michael Wilklow called.

The dealer flopped A7Q. Zhong checked and Blazevich fired 5,000,000, making Wilklow fold. Zhong, holding his last chip, again took his time before he threw it in.

Weizheng Zhong: 109 All in
Cameron Blazevich: A7

Blazevich hit two pair on the flop leaving Zhong to hope for a miracle to stay in the tournament. The 7 turn fell leaving Zhong drawing dead and sealing his fate. The 2 river was a formality. The dealer shipped the chips to Blazevich as Zhong left the table.
