Kopp Doubles Through Wu

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
William Kopp
William Kopp

Adam Ajudhia made it 250,000 from early position and Ching Da Wu three-bet to 550,000 on the button. William Kopp was in the small blind and four-bet shoved for 790,000. Ajudhia quickly folded, and Wu put in the extra.

William Kopp: AQ All in
Ching Da Wu: AJ

Kopp had the best of it preflop and improved to middle pair on the K9Q flop. Wu did have a gutshot, but couldn't find it as the 8J runout meant Kopp more than doubled his stack.

For Those Who Wish to Sing

Level 30 : Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Duncan Horst
Duncan Horst

Apparently we have reached the point in the tournament where players are in the mood to sing.

First up was, Geoffrey Coatar, who went all in on the river with a board of 5J8610. While Adam Hall considered a call that would put him all in, Coatar began a medley of simple riffs while suggesting that Hall should fold.

"All up in your neighborhood," Coatar sang with a high-pitched soprano-ish wail.

Seconds after Hall folded to quiet Coatar for the time being, one table over, Duncan Horst belted out a stirring rendition of "God Bless America."

The appropriately attired Horst, sporting a U.S. Flag-colored sweatsuit, received an ovation from the crowd.

Buchanan Sends Do Home

Level 30 : Blinds 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Shawn Buchanan
Shawn Buchanan

Shawn Buchanan opened the button and Vuong Do shoved the big blind for around 1,400,000. Buchanan called.

Vuong Do: K10 All in
Shawn Buchanan: AQ

Do needed to play catch up, but it seemed a longshot after the 9QA flop gave Buchanan two pair. A jack is what Do needed, but the 28 runout was of no help, and he was eliminated.
