With his ever-present burnt orange University of Texas "Block T" logo cap, Michael Moncek, better known to most as Texas Mike, has quietly moved into the top 20 in chip counts.
Moncek, who has won two bracelets said his WSOP is going "just OK" thus far. Just OK for Moncek would be outstanding for many.
He has ninth-place finishes in the $25,000 Mixed PLO/NLH High Roller and the $5,000 Eight Handed No-Limit Hold'em events, plus an 11th place in the $10,000 Mystery Bounty.
