Don't Leave, Adawi!
Peter Dykes raised to 12,000 in early position and got a caller in Anas Adawi on the button. Big blind Samuel Ferguson, had other things in mind, and shoved all-in for a little bit more than 400,000. Dykes folded his hand but Ferguson made the call taking both players to showdown.
Anas Adawi: A♥Q♣
Samuel Ferguson: 7♠7♦
Adawi not hopeful with the possible results of the deal, immediately stood up, swung his backpack on his back ready to leave. The dealer dealt a K♦9♥3♠ flop keeping Ferguson's sevens intact and making Adawi move his body sideways pushing his chair out.
The turn Q♦ changed things as it gave Adawi a pair that beats Ferguson. He remained standing but with his bag back on the floor. The river 8♦ was dealt and Adawi sat back down to scoop the pot for a double up leaving Ferguson with only around 5 big blinds left.
