Anderson Stacks Up

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Silvio Derubeis opened for 27,000 and got called by the button Theodoros Stemelatos and big blind Francis Anderson.

All checked the flop 10J4. On the turn 10, after action was passed to him, Derubeis fired 35,000. Stemelatos had seen enough but Anderson stayed on.

Anderson decided to lead with a 65,000 bet on the river 4 and Derubeis called.

Anderson tabled KJ which made Derubeis muck his hand and leave the pot for Anderson to pick up.

Streuli Cracks Aces with Rivered Straight

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jeremy Streuli open-shoved for 158,000 in middle position. Lachlan Crilly in hijack called while everyone remaining folded around leaving the two players to head to showdown.

Jeremy Streuli: AK All in
Lachlan Crilly: AA

The moment Streuli saw Crilly's hand, he looked like he wanted to just muck his hand in disgust. Hesistantly, he tabled them visibly disheartened.

The flop came 3Q10 Crilly's aces held but Streuli's outs increased with a straight draw. He didn't look hopeful and seemed resigned when the A fell on the turn.

Finally the J was peeled on the river, and somewhat unaware, the other players informed him he caught himself a straight to scoop the pot. Crilly graciously matched and shipped the chips towards his direction.

Babiy's Aces No Good

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Anatoly Zlotnikov raised from middle position to 24,000 only to be three-bet to 65,000 by Jordan Westmorland in late position. Justin Babiy in the cutoff then four-bet jammed all in for his last 175,000. Zlotnikov got out of the way, and Westmorland called.

Justin Babiy: AAAll in
Jordan Westmorland: A10

The flop came 5KJ and then Babiy's nightmare card, the Q peeled off on the turn and gave Westmorland a gutshot straight. The Q came on the river, and Babiy' aces had been cracked, and he was sent packing.
