Kotsines Doubles Up with Top Pair

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

From hijack, Eric Kotsines bet 7,000 on a flop of 2A5 and a pot of around 30,000 and got called by Jamie Dwan in cutoff.

The turn 9 fell and Kotsines fired another 18,000 keeping the heat up. Staying cool, Dwan called. On the river 2, Kotsines placed maximum pressure with an all-in jam for around 40,000. After asking for a count, Dwan called.

Kotsines tabled AQ. Dwan threw his hand faced down and was about to be mucked when a request to turn it over was made to show A10.

All Smiles for Miles

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Tony Miles opened to 8,000 under the gun and got the blinds, James Borland in small and Scott Weinstein in big, to call.

All three checked the 310Q flop. Borland led on the 4 turn pushing Weinstein out of the way and getting a call from Miles. The 4 went check-check.

Borland showed the winning hand of KQ prompting Miles to muck his hand, but with a smile. It would seem that his mom follows PokerNews and now that his hand will be reported, she'll know he's on the most fun table in the tournament.

Tank, Tank, Tank

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a flop of Q35 and the pot at about 30,000, Michael McCarthy checked in the small blind and Michael Hans bet out for 9,000 from the big blind. McCarthy went into the tank for about three minutes before he check-raised to 24,000, which sent Hans into the tank for about two minutes before he made the call, and the players saw the 9 peel off on the turn.

McCarthy went into the tank again for 2-3 minutes before betting out for 42,000, which of course then sent Hans into the tank again, (PokerNews lost track of the time by now!) and he eventually called.

The 7 came on the river, and yes, you guessed it, McCarthy went into the tank again before he pushed out a bet of 140,000, and yes, this sent Hans into the tank, who eventually....................folded! The whole hand took approximately 12-15 minutes.

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Julien Leideck in the small blind and Robert Kinstle on the button checked the pot of 25,000 on a flop of Q68.

On the turn 5, Leideck bet 8,000 and Kinstle called again. Finally on the river Q, Leideck shot out 50,000 and Kinstle snap-called.

Leideck mucked his hand and Kinstle tabled A6 as the dealer pushed the chips towards his direction.
