Everybody Loves a Chopped Pot!

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Mark Manges moved all in from early position for 580,000 only to see Craig Savage three-bet all in over the top from middle position. All other players folded.

Mark Manges: AKAll in
Craig Savage: AQ

Manges was way ahead, and the 8KJ flop put him further out in front, but then the 10 peeled off on the turn and made Savage a straight. The Q then fell on the river and gave both players Broadway to chop the pot.

Full Boat for Castellanos

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The hand began when Meddi Ferrah jammed from the small blind for more than Jonathon Castellanos had in the big blind. Castellanos took time to ponder his decision before he chose to put the rest of his 820,000 in the middle and risk his tournament in a battle of the blinds.

Jonathon Castellanos: KQAll in
Meddi Ferrah: J6

Castellanos flopped a big hand when the board came KQ7. The K put an end to any hopes of Ferrah winning the pot as the meaningless 7 hit the river.

Jacks for Castellanos spells Ferrah's Demise

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Meddi Ferrah and Jonathon Castellanos clashed for the final time this tournament. Ferrah jammed from the cutoff and was called by Castellanos on the button to put Ferrah at risk.

Meddi Ferrah: 77All in
Jonathon Castellanos: JJ

Ferrah gained some outs when the flop came 8610, but the 2 turn and the A river did not convert on any of them to eliminate Ferrah.

Chudapal At It Again

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Siarhei Chudapal
Siarhei Chudapal

Siarhei Chudapal again raised to 700,000 from the button, leaving himself just 50,000 behind. Ben Fan in late position then raised all-in to force Chudapal to put his last 50,000 in, he obliged.

Ben Fan:AJ

The flop came 8QK, and it was looking like Fan was going to take out Chudapal. The 8 didn't give anything to scare Fan, but then the lovely(for Chudapal) 3 came off on the river and gave Chudapal a pair and a full double up.

Karlins Pulls the Trigger, Shows the Bluff

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Alexander Gittings opened the action with a raise to 320,000 from the hijack, and Marvin Karlins defended his big blind with a call.

The flop came Q23, and Gittings continued for 205,000. Karlins responded with a check-raise to 600,000, prompting Gittings to double-check his cards before making the call.

Before the dealer even revealed the 7 turn, Karlins was already preparing to shove. He followed through with an all-in of around 600,000, and Gittings didn’t take long to fold.

Karlins grinned and tabled Ax8x for a stone-cold bluff, drawing laughs and cheers from the table.

Sidky Exits; Nguyen Continues to Build

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Action went three-ways to a flop of 274 with the under-the-gun Sammy Sidky all in and at risk. Arthur Morris in late position and Hai Nguyen in the hijack had a small side pot going.

Morris and Nguyen both checked to the Q turn where Morris led out with a bet of 300,000. Nguyen made the call, bringing the 5 river.

Morris thought for a moment before electing to check and Nguyen checked back, tabling AK. Morris turned over A8 and Sidky showed J10.

Nguyen's ace-king proved to be best and the pot was pushed his way.
