Morris Bluffs it Off Against Mustafov

Level 8 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov opened to 16,000 from early position and was called by Christopher Puetz from directly behind. Arthur Morris then squeezed to 85,000 from the big blind, which got a call from Mustafov and a fold from Puetz.

Mustafov proceeded to call bets from Morris on every street. First for 75,000 on the J95 flop, then for 175,000 on the 2 turn, and lastly for Morris's remaining stack on the 6 river.

Morris revealed AK for just ace-king high and Mustafov tabled 99 for a set to send Morris to the rail.

Redemption for Morris

Level 8 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Vladimir Minko opened to 16,000 from under the gun before Arthur Morris, who had just sat down for his second attempt of the day, three-bet to 55,000 on his immediate left. In the hijack, Jason Palker jammed for his remaining 119,000. It folded back to Morris who snap-called.

Jason Palker: KJ All in
Arthur Morris: AQ

Palker held live cards but was still behind the ace-high of Morris. It quickly got desperate for Palker on the A85 flop as Morris paired his ace. Nothing changed on the 22 runout as Palker was sent to the rail by Morris.

Miracle River for Soverel

Level 8 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jason Koon opened to 16,000 from early position before Sam Soverel three-bet to 48,000 from the cutoff, and Koon called.

On the AQ2 flop, Koon checked in flow to Soverel who bet 36,000. Koon then check-raised to 110,000, and Soverel called.

The turn brought the 3 as Koon led all-in for 269,000 effective as the covering stack, and Soverel grimaced as he quickly put in the call.

Sam Soverel: AK All in
Jason Koon: AQ

Koon flopped top two pair and was primed for the elimination as Soverel had just three outs. However, the K magically appeared on the river as Soverel was able to survive as Koon falls below seven figures for the first time in several levels.

Level 8 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Brock Wilson opened from under the gun and was three-bet to 50,000 by Aliaksandr Shylko in the small blind. Isai Scheinberg called cold from the big blind and Wilson got out of the way.

Shylko continued for 26,000 on the AJ4 flop and Scheinberg raised to 75,000. Shylko quickly laid his hand down and Scheinberg collected the pot.

Shylko was left with just over 100,000 following the hand and was seen exiting his seat shortly after, having been eliminated.

Showers for Shakerchi

Level 8 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Talal Shakerchi opened the button to 16,000 and Viktor Ustimov defended his big blind.

On the J62 flop, Ustimov check-called a bet of 17,000 from Shakerchi.

Ustimov checked again on the 7 turn as Shakerchi sized up to 51,000, and Ustimov stuck around again.

On the 6 river, Ustimov checked for a final time to Shakerchi who bet 106,000. Ustimov responded with a check-jam for 285,000 effective as the covering stack. Shakerchi would burn through a time bank, a rare sight, before he flicked in the call. He got the bad news as Ustimov tabled Q6 for trip sixes, and Shakerchi mucked his hand on his way the exit, wishing his opponents good luck along the way.

Martin Kabrhel opened the cutoff to 20,000 before Yuri Dzivielevski three-bet to 75,000 on the button. It folded back to Kabrhel who put out a four-bet to 245,000. Dzivielevski then shoved as the covering stack and Kabrhel called off for 894,000.

Martin Kabrhel: KK All in
Yuri Dzivielevski: AK

It was a cooler scenario with Kabrhel having the best of it. The QQ4 flop gave Dzivielevski a backdoor straight draw, but the board ran out 9J and Kabrhel held on to become the chip leader in a massive pot during the final frame of play
