Plesuv Makes the Right Call to Eliminate Zappa

John Brooks opened to 6,000 from under the gun before Lucas Zappa three-bet to 17,000 on his direct left. On the button, Pavel Plesuv cold-called and Brooks came along as well.

On the Q95 flop, Brooks checked to Zappa who continued for 26,000 and only Plesuv called.

Zappa fired again for 42,000 on the 5 turn as Plesuv called once again.

Heads-up to the 3 river with 193,500 in the middle, Zappa led all-in for 84,000 which send Plesuv into the tank. After using two time banks, he flicked in the call and the hands were tabled.

Lander Lijo opened to 6,000 from early position and Yaman Nakdali called in the small blind. In the big blind, Mike Meskin squeezed to 35,000 and only Lijo called.

On the Q96 flop, Meskin continued for a healthy sizing of 50,000 and Lijo put in the call.

Meskin slowed down with a check on the 7 turn before Lijo announced a bet of 36,000. Meskin snap-called.

The 1092 flop checked through to the 8 turn which saw Punsri lead for 14,000 and Zhang put in the call.
