In a preflop confrontation Tzai Wei Phua was all in from the big blind for 1,120,000 and up against Justin Vaysman who covered him from the cutoff.

Phua's kings stayed in front on the QJ469 runout to double up through Vaysman, who was left with just 55,000 chips.

A couple hands later Vaysman shoved his remaining stack from under the gun and Sean Winter called from the big blind to put him at risk.

Vaysman was a big favorite with top two pair on the 378 flop but the rest of the board ran out 56 giving Winter a nine-high straight to eliminate Vaysman.

"King nine off suit, cooler," fellow Bulgarian Yuliyan Kolev said after he had said goodbye to his countryman. The A3 of Piekazewicz remained ahead all the way on the J778Q board for the Brazilian to score the knockout.
