Hand #25 - Ylon Schwartz

Darus Suharto has the button in Seat 5. Peter Eastgate opens again, this time to 775,000. Ylon Schwartz puts in a reraise to 2.5 million and the action is folded around back to Eastgate. He calls and we’ll see a flop.

The flop is {9-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {2-Spades} . Eastgate checks over to Schwartz, who bets 2,000,000. Eastgate calls. The turn is the {A-Hearts} . Eastgate checks again and Schwartz bets 3,000,000. You could hear a pin drop in the room as he thinks over his decision.

Ultimately Eastage mucks, prompting a loud roar from Schwartz's group of ralbirds, including Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy.

Hand #26 - Chino Rheem

Chino Rheem has the button in Seat 6. He asks Kelly Kim, "How much do you have?" after everyone in front of him folds. The answer is about 1.6 million. Rheem elects to raise to 800,000, quickly folding the blinds and winning the pot.

Hand #30 - Ylon Schwartz

Dennis Phillips has the button in Seat 1. Ivan Demidov is the first into the pot, raising to 775,000. Everyone passes to Ylon Schwartz in the big blind. Demidov is the only player that has Schwartz covered at this point. After thinking it over, Schwartz calls.

Schwartz acts first on the {2-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts} flop and bets 1,150,000. Demidov makes the call. The turn {3-Diamonds} seems to be a card that helps neither player. Schwartz fires away again, making it 2,450,000. Demidov sinks into his chair and lets out a small sigh, but decides to call again.

The river makes things interesting. It is the {6-Hearts} and puts a possible heart flush on board. It slows Schwartz down, as he checks for the first time. Wordlessly, Demidov pushes 3.7 million into the middle. Schwartz quickly calls and shows {K-Clubs} {10-Clubs} for a flopped two pair. That beats Demidov's single pair of kings, {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}.

By dragging that pot, Ylon Schwartz has become the new chip leader.
