Rep Porter Cracks 100,000 After a Difficult Call

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Three-time WSOP bracelet winner Rep Porter was in a three-handed pot.

The pot was about 28,000 and the flop came {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. All three players checked.

The turn was the {j-Spades} and all three players checked again. The river was the {3-Spades} and Porter checked before his opponent bet 17,500. The third player folded and Porter thought about his decision for about 45 seconds. He then called and won the hand with {5-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs} against the ace-high of his opponent.

The Money Bubble is Here

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

The floor has just announced for the dealers to complete the hand they are on and hold up. Hand-for-hand play is about to begin unless some players get knocked out on this hand and the players go directly into the money.

Rep Porter Sends Richard Tuhrim Home With a Min Cash ($834)

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Right before hand-for-hand play was about to begin a few players were eliminated. The floor discussed who finished when and determined that Richard Tuhrim would be the first player to get paid even though he was eliminated by Rep Porter right on the bubble's edge.

Tuhrim led for 13,000 on a board reading {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Porter raised all in, putting Tuhrim at risk. Tuhrim called and Porter won the hand with broadway, holding {10-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

Tuhrim had {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and hit the rail, taking with him the $834 min cash.

Adam Owen Joins the 100,000 Club

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

A few of the players in the field have over 100,000, while some are approaching 200,000. Jason Mercier was off to a very fast start with 100,000 about two hours ago and has since moved it up to 170,000.

Alex Wilson wasn't that far behind him in terms of how long it took for his stack to join the top stacks in the field, and is now slightly ahead of Mercier.

Adam Owen just cracked 100,000 after winning two hands in a row.

A player limped from middle position and Owen called from the small blind. The big blind bet 44,000 and both the limper and Owen called.

The flop was {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and all three players checked. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Owen bet 12,500. The raiser called and the limper folded.

The river was the {q-Hearts} and Owen went all in. He has his opponent covered so the shove was effectively for 15,000 — his opponent's remaining stack.

Eventually his opponent folded and Owen raked in the pot. On the next hand after raising preflop, Owen c-bet the flop and grabbed another quick 15,000.

Shaun Deeb Doubles Up With a Wheel

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

"I'm dead," said Shaun Deeb after the dealer put out a {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop.

Deeb was all in and at risk with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{k-} against the {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{j-Spades} of his opponent.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds}.

"Diamonds," another player chimed in with good news for Deeb.

The river was the {3-Clubs}.

"A wheel," Deeb said sitting back down in his chair to collect his winnings.

Pierce McKellar Takes Chip Lead With Quads, Cracks 200,000

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Pierce McKellar just became the chip leader when he turned quad tens against Nacho Barbero.

Barbero opened preflop from the cutoff. The small blind called and McKellar called.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked around to Barbero. He bet 8,000 and the small blind folded.

McKellar raised, tossing in a handful of 5,000 chips and putting Barbero at risk should he called. Which he did.

"Do you have a deuce?" questioned Barbero.

"No."

McKellar tossed out his hand face up and he had flopped a full house with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} against the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{k-}{x-} of Barbero.

The turn was another ten, the {10-Hearts}, and the river was the {5-Spades}. McKellar won a huge pot worth more than 100,000.
