Federico Butteroni Eliminated in 24th Place ($13,186)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Federico Butteroni
Federico Butteroni

Chi Zhang had started rather mediocre and quickly lost half of his stack, but the Brit bounced back and just sent Federico Butteroni to the rail. The former November Niner three-bet shoved out of the small blind and Zhang quickly called.

Butteroni: {A-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Zhang: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The flop came {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Butteroni was in desperate shape. He picked up some chop outs on the {J-Clubs} turn, but the {6-Hearts} river was a blank. Michael Krasienko said "That was a good window card," to Zhang, referring to the queen that appeared first.

Butteroni was eliminated in 24th place and takes home $13,186 for his efforts.

Chen Takes from Krasienko

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Griffin Abel dominated the action on his new table and quickly built a stack. He got through with a four-bet shove against Pete Chen and left the latter with less than the average.

Michael Krasienko just now raised and Chen defended his big blind. The duo checked the {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop and Chen bet the {K-Hearts} turn for 36,000, which Krasienko called. On the {5-Spades} river, Chen bet 60,000 and Krasienko raised to 150,000. Chen called and Krasienko announced ten-high, then tabled {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Chen had that beat with {A-Spades}{2-Spades} and won the pot.

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The cards of Jamie Armstrong were already rushed away when the board being spread {J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. james Calvo had {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} tabled and was about to leave before other players at the table told him he had won. "Oh, I thought he had eight-ten," Calvo said. "He had nine-ten? Wow, I am still in," and celebrated.

According to Eddy Sabat, Armstrong had defended his big blind and check-shoved the flop with his open-ended straight draw. Calvo called with his kings for 402,000 and doubled up.

Over on Table 700, there was also some action in the last hands of the level.

Pedro Cabeca shoved from the button for 420,000 and Eric Cloutier called in the big blind for less.

Eric Cloutier: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Pedro Cabeca: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The board came {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Cloutier doubled for 364,000.

In the last hand before the break, Cloutier raised to 36,000 and John Dolan three-bet to 105,000 in the small blind, which Cloutier called. Dolan bet the {Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop for 80,000 and Cloutier called. Both checked the {K-Hearts} turn and Dolan checked the {9-Diamonds} river. Cloutier bet 200,000 and Dolan eventually folded after the clock was called on him.

Sabat remains the dominating chip leader with 23 players remaining.

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Pedro Cabeca
Pedro Cabeca

First to act, Pedro Cabeca moved all in for his last 44,000 and Eric Cloutier called. [Removed:153] also came along from the big blind and checked the {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop. Cloutier bet 80,000, and Stenholm called before the two remaining players checked the {Q-Clubs} turn and {J-Diamonds} river.

Cloutier rolled over {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for kings and queens and Cabeca mucked {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Stenholm could beat neither and also sent his {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a busted flush draw into the muck. Cabeca was eliminated in 23rd place and takes home $13,186.
